I'm planning to get Canon 450D kit lens 18mm-200mm is it better then 18mm-55mm?

one more thing, some places bundle giving LCD protector,UV filter is it important? or if i wan how much n where can i get it.

Hi welcome to CS , 18-200 is good can use for many like landsacpe or protrait
nornally the shop will give screen protector as for UV filter it depen how your bargain with them.

for Uv filter all those if u dont mind second hand u can check out the B&S section here u can get a normal filter just 10buck
if u buy frm shop u will likely kena chop if u dunno the price

Hoya HMC UV would be good enough if you have more budget then go for B + W filter

Think isn't a big problem to get a UV filter and screen protector for free when u purchase for a camera. But the UV filter i think will be the less expensive one. If dun mind, just top up to get a better one. Cheers.

it reduces your picture quality by a small bit..

in return you get protection for your precious lens..

basically those cheap filter is onli to protect ur lens
u can either buy a lens hood or buy filter or both
