Once you have the basic minimum camera body, i would say it is the lens!

In not so good economy like this, i would say do you have cash for better lenses and body + flash + other accessories?
Else don't get it now. save for raining days.

Too many factors to consider and depending on your needs. For me i upgrade my d60 to d90.

Invest in a good lens!

Invest on good lenses, then when you upgrade the body you can make full use of the lenses, otherwise when you upgrade, your lens might not be sufficient.
