Thanks for the comments. This was captured in Lake Wakatipu, South Island, NZ. I was driving back to Queenstown. Dark clouds were gathering over the lake and it started drizzling. But the rays of light penetrating through the dark clouds onto the lake and the island provided a surreal scene. I stopped my car, got out and changed to my 90mm. and took a few shots before the drizzle turned to heavy rain. It was all over in a few minutes.

But only for a few moments before the storm cloud went under it.

here's one i took in Cairns a short while back. It was a sun set pic...taken right out from my balcony where i stayed...i simply loved the place and it really had relaxed me.... This short in fact is a HDR shot.

well if you think about it, when it is clouds only

you look at the size of your flash, do you think it is big enough to light up the sky like a bat signal? ;p
