Here in Singapore, we do not specifically elaborated on digitally-enhanced special effects. These kind of designs many appeal to the younger generation photographers, but the more traditional ones (like myself) will find your concepts 'childish' and lack significance.

Your skills will probably be more exceptable with ad design firms or publishers.

Hi photobum, but I think there is still a niche market for bridal photo. If not the main album, it will most probably be the 2nd or coffee table album style. Something different.:thumbsup:

I've seen similar styled pictures in photography magazines from China before. Think it's still quite popular there. But I don't really think there's a market for it here, think customers here wishes to see mainly more photography than graphic design for their photos. However if you can blend in the graphics as part of, maybe the album packaging or the overall design elements, it could look very professional.

I am not well versed in mandarin either but I think it is out of our league to tell the oldest civilisation and a country of 1.3 billion ppl, 20% of the world's population, to be more bilingual.

If anything, the rest of the world had better learn mandarin at the rate China is rising.

the images stand for themselves so language shouldnt be such a big issue.

Great design work but I'm afraid the Singapore market would prefer more classic or modern- sophisticated (i.e. clean lines and simple designs) themes.

Nevertheless I'm sure you being a designer would be able to adapt to the local scene pretty quickly.

I'm a photographer, shooting portraits and wedding mainly, would like to comment a little on the things you are sharing here.

for this type of presentation, does not appeal to our mass wedding markets, some younger wedding couples may like your works, it's looks like neo prints, but if you would do a search on our local (Singapore) wedding portals, wedding photographers site, you will able to find out what are the styles more appeal to wedding couples here.

I would classify these group of pictures as digitize art, where photoshop skills is 90% and photography skills is 10%. Nice to look at though.
