Thanks a lot guys! Done some research and bought some books too.. hoping to put some in practical application.. Wanna learn more bout portraiture & lighting techniques using off-camera flash..
Good for you! At least you decided to come in here armed with knowledge beforehand.
You can join the paid shootings if you don't mind to pick up more about that genre of photography that you like.
