One of my favorite activities while roaming about in CS is to use the Search function whenever some interesting topic comes into my mind, say example, "bokeh" if I want to know how to get beautifully out of focussed background. The threads that come up will be so full of opinions from all angles such that I will almost always learn something new after walking through the battle zone created.
