Hi all new user here ... :confused:

Im sooo wanting to join this great local forum but just hv no time to register.
but now I did ... heheee
well currently Im using nikon D80 for bout 3 yrs now
and maybe I'd want to upgrade too.
on lens ... my fingers are itchy wanting to get sigma 30mm F1.4
I hv 50mm F1.8 nikkor.
need help here ... should I get 35mm F1.8 nikkor or sigma 30mm F1.4 ... thanks

To upgrade . . . D7000 coming, so pls wait patiently.

You seems to favour more towards Sigma 35 f1.4 . . . :think:

Welcome to CS....just a piece of advice, upgrading really depends in your budget and your needs!

But sad to say tat this lens got focusing issues
stated at sigma, tamron thread ... :cry:

for body maybe not sooo soon.

50mm 1.8 for portrait, tamron 18-270 for general purpose, planning to get a longer lens for birding too.
The kit 18-135 is still lying in the cabinet but has not been used for a long time.

Hmm I'm more interested in birding so I didn't think of investing so much in a portrait lens but i bet a lot of bros/sis here have used it before, ask in the tamron/sigma/tokina section and you should get quite a bit of reviews.
