Hercules ND Fader - ?Cross Vignetting?

Hi Guys, Need some help here.
Just bought a ND fader but I experience a dark cross forming when i up the stop level.. i assume that's call cross vignetting?

Anyway, any user of the filter experience the same issue?

It's common for a variable ND filter (ND fader) to have cross vignetting.

I think it's a case of 'you get what you pay for' for me.. =)

all brands will have this problem... stick to non variable ND filters...

All ND Faders will have this - this is common issue , unless you dont t go over it , then it ok

What filter size is your ND Fader?

I bought a cheap fader from ebay. I do not get such bad vignetting.

There are markings on the filters if i am not wrong. mine is green l if I go beyond the the indicated marking it will cause the cross vignetting (not visible when you look through your viewfinder but the image will eventually capture it). The only main issue of my variable nd filter is that it has a warm tone (not a big issue if you are shooting digital)
