In PP:

Ejun. No doubt about that. Experience and knowledge. ;)

DP. Now I know I will get flamed, slammed, bashed online. But by far, apart from being the most vocal about pictures posted in PP, he does provide insights on how pictures should be presented in the best light possible, in this case models and how the photographer captures the subject in the best possible way.

If he's really helpful, why would somebody flame you?
After all, there no reward

No intention to advertise my services.
in fact, I'm temporary not accepting any repair job due to work commitments

Well, gotta credit these two fellow CS members! They helped me a great deal when i first started out.

Kit-For his excellent comments on the technical aspect of photography & composition. Very helpful guy & excellent teacher indeed.

Dennisc- For his encouragement amid all the demoralising comments. And of course for one of his kind offer, although i didn't take it in the end due to the lack of time.... (dunno if he remembers)

Got to be TS himself....thanks again for reviving my dad's old FE2 and getting me started on film photography.

The search for the real meaning of being helpful

Furnishing help does it mean giving aid; assistant; useful; and salutary?

The saying: "Heavens make our presence and our practices Pleasant and helpful to him!" - Shak. does has more deeper meaning indeed!

Does showing a willingness to cooperate like "a helpful cooperative patient" or "parents hope to raise children who are considerate and helpful to others" or having active understanding CS forumers coming up with the required solution immediately applies here?

"For me, there is no reason not to help our fellow man. If it seems like too much when you see someone needing help, just stop and think about how you might feel if you needed help and no one would lend a hand.

We are all part of the human family so let's acknowledge each other, make eye contact, and do something for someone else!

However small or large the help, it will make a difference for the person in need at that moment and it will make a difference for you.

Trust me, when you're in need you'll be glad of every helpful act as you get paid back ten fold."

The secret to being sincerely helpful and of service-learning is
to invite or participate in more discussion pertaining to your area
of interest and of being able to become highly interactive with fellow
forumers, colleagues, family members and friends.:heart:
