Help with film choices, please!

Hey.
I was just wondering if someone could answer some questions:

1. What would be a good B+W film for taking wedding pictures outdoors?
2. Also I'm interested in taking photos with infrared film and was wondering if I needed any special equipment (I have a Fujica ST801). And what film would you recomend? Any other advice on this subject is welcome also!!
