Hi, I just tried to calibrate the 2nd monitor that was attached to my macbook pro but i was unsure of how to actually go about doing it.

Initially i just launch the calibration software and tried to calibrate (on easy mode). But when i started running, i realized that the screen detection was on my macbook instead of the 2nd monitor so it couldn't detect.
So i figured that maybe i need to enable mirror for it to work. And so i tried again and this time it did detect it and calibrate my 2nd monitor. I saved the profile for that monitor and enabled it with colorsync but the colors were haywire.
Did i miss out anything?

Would appreciate it if someone can help advice.
Thanks!

don't enable mirroring. that screws it up completely.

instead, drag the Eye-One Match window over to the second display - the software will then figure out which screen to calibrate.
