HELP! What to feed a baby bird?

The bird is now almost fully cover with feather.
In another week it should be ready to fly. Freedom. :lovegrin:

Looks like a tree sparrow... have you tried feeding it fruits?

IMO I think you should just take care of this bird. Maybe it doesn't know how to fend for itself in the wild?

but normally when a weaned bird is release for to freedom, it cannot survive ..

Found this old baby bird this morning (23/6/06). Baby Pigeon. I think it drop from its nest and wet because of rain this morning. Can not fly, still too young.

What to feed and how long do you think I need to keep it until it can fly? Can it feed itself?

Hee ... like baby birds are falling a lot these days. artosoft, I think it looks like it need liquid food. About $3 in powder form from bird store at serangoon north.

Your so lucky, pigeon when kept, can be used as a messenger from girlfren's place to yours.
