Help! SIN to MEL --> SGD384! Good offer?

Hi guys,

I'm planning to head down to Melbourne for my friend's wedding in Sept. Malaysia Airlines just announced their MATF fares for flights until 30 September and it's SGD384!!(my fren's wedding on 25th - like perfect timing!!)

Airfare is a good deal !
Special fares are cheap provided you dun change dates, check on the amendment charges. These fares are mostly of no refund value if you dun travel

Can get cheaper deals on budget airlines, depending on the dates of travel.

didn't realise malaysian airline fly direct SIN-MEL. thot they always SIN-KL-MEL

anyway, heard on radio this morning some budget airliine is offering KL-MEL at SGD88. add the SGP-KL cost, may beat malaysian airline on price but at expense of (much) longer travel time.

Just wondering is the the price for one way ticket or two way? Nowadays most advert frm mysia airline indicates 1-way.
and too happening to be true... all sold out until even Aug-Sept dates.

- it does not include tax - another $5xx
- there are no SIN - Mel direct flights

take note that it is a 1 way flight, and its SIN - KL- MEL.
if hanging around KL is fine with you, yeah its a good deal. The other deals are easily 300 bucks more for a return flight...
ps. tax is included...
