Hi there,

Need some help from the kind forumers here.

I have a Sanyo Quick Charger NC-MQH01U.

I suspect the charger is faulty. When I try to charge my Sanyo 2300 mAh or 2100 mAh, the red charging light comes on for only less than 1 minute and it switches off. When I try to charge some other rechargeable batteries, the same thing happens. Sometimes when I charge the non-Sanyo batteries, the red light blinks. :(

Please give me your opinion on this.

Many thanks and regards
Lim :)

yeah looks like faulty charger....only 3 types of LED display mentioned...

just one point to take note - blinking light could mean battery not resting properly on the charger when charging...

During charge On ( Red light )
After full charge Off ( Red light goes off )
Abnormal charge condition Blinking ( Red light )

Check the contacts of your charger. Make sure it is not oxidised.

I didn't notice the red light blinking and thinking my batts were spoilt after charging the whole night.

I brought my charger to Eastgear and the staff was very helpful in cleaning it for me. Now my charger works. Thanks guys from Eastgear!
