Can someone help to recommend me a place where I can retrieve data from a faulty external hard disk drive? A 320G Transcend 2.5" Portable Hard Drive - just out of warranty

There are a few shops in Sim Lim Square that do data recovery. You can try them. They're mostly in the "backlanes" of the shopping centre.

Just call Seagate lah.. they do data recovery..

if your hdd is not dead but faulty and still can read.

just plug your hdd to your pc... and read it as a secondary drive provided that you have a working primary OS drive.
