Help! Problem with XD Card

Yesterday after i took a few pictures, the LCD screen came to :"Card Setup. Power off or Format."

What should i do?

I can't choose format as it erases all the pictures on the card, and if i choose power off, the camera switches off.

i can't do or choose anythng else.

And if i plug in the USB cable to my comp, it also says the drive is not formatted and asks if i want to format it now.

Help!

Do you have an xD card reader?

I think you can read the photo from a USB card reader. Otherwise you have to try olympus service centre. They are able to get the picture back for you. Which happen to be once. =)

yup. i sent it to the service centre today. hopefully it can be recovered...
