looks like a manfrotto 190-series with the 141 3-way panning head. it's sold as a set in CP, IIRC. :think:

but surely you're not going to buy a tripod based on how it looks?

Urm.. I've absolutely no experience with tripods... or even handle cameras that would need tripods..
Need it for some measuring equipment.. and this was the picture provided of the tripod they provided.. was hoping to get it locally loh
I'll take a trip down to CP (i assume cathay?)...
(was thinking of buying a spyder2 anyway)
urm.. any idea what kind of price range would i be looking at ?

yup CP is cathay
they have a wide selection
