Help needed in cleaning PCB

Need help here

The battery in my remote control leak and the PCB is oily. I don't seems to be able to dry it

Any one can offer some advise on how to dry the oily stuff ?

once leak i also dunno how to fix. my GC tio leak before also. end up change new one. my friend tried using sand paper, and he claims it works.. cause its alkali + ur circuit board. shld be corroded liao:sweat:

the wonderful thing is it is not corroded
