Help: My PC/Laptop cannot read my Sandisk ULTRA CF

Hi All,

Tested using 2 card readers already, but none of them are able to read my Ultra2/Extreme in my PC and Laptop (it is able to read my trancend 45x though). I always need to use my Camera cable to transfer the images. :cry:

Tested the same card reader in other PC and it works wonder with my Ultra 2/Extreme card :dunno: ...

Any ideas? Just FYI my PC is WinXP and the error message that I receive is "the card is not formatted ...."

try reformating your card on your camera first before your next shoot...

Always reformat the CF efore use. And the point is it read-able with the same CF reader in different computer. So I kinda suspect that it has something to do with my PC.

Try the following:

+ Update your Windows XP to at least Service Pack 1
+ Make sure antivirus program is not interferring with your card reader

I am using all-in-one reader as well as USB1.1 CF reader and no problem with my CF card, though I am using the Lexar WA 80X 2 GB card...
