help me choose a good compact camera

hi..
i am not sure this is the right forum to post..
I am in need of advice for a good compact camera to carry with me all the time..
i have a DSLR for more serious shoots but i want something i can put in my jeans pocket..
so.. LX3 is kinda out..
i am looking into F200EXR, Ricoh CX1 ( or CX2) .. and anyother suggestion you guys might have..
i want at least 28mm wide..
will be shooting snapshot of landscape / streets so i want it fairly wide and fast AF as well..
budget is not much of a concern but it would be nice to be ard 500.
hope to hear some of the experience and advice here..

you be looking for anything with shutter control.

like Manual mode? not really necessary if the camera is making decent decision by itself.
this will be more of a fun camera for me.. just want good jpeg file out of the cam.. dont wanna go thru RAW files like i do in DSLR.
