Hehehe. Just realised that the people in the Nikon forum answered all the questions.

Again thanks to everybody! We really appreciate your assistance. You are always welcome to ask us for anything you might need in Russia :)

As a bonus for those who might be interested, my husband's web is http://www.jarwhite.ru (I think it has English version) :)

Some of my pictures can be seen here: http://community.webshots.com/user/alvianta100 (I am not a porfessional) :)

Best regards,

здравствулте! русские друзья

...hopefully that translation is correct. By the way, would you know the name of the famous Russian photographer who covered the whole Chernobyl clean up? I saw him and his works on a documentary about the Chernobyl disaster on discovery channel, but forgot to take down his name..

Paul Fusco - should be this guy, the photographer who started all.. all the events followed , including the exhibition of 18 artists' impressions of the disaster

Hi Patryk,
I think I know whom are you talking about (the Russian photographer), but I do not remember the name either. Might be Anatoliy Rasskasov, he was the photographer who tokk the very first pictures of the city right after the disaster. The link to the picturesis:http://www.zavtra.com.ua/news/photo/30460. I will check it with my husband anyway and let you know.

Here are some links to other Chernoble pictures, just have a look:

We also have a friend who visited the place himself in September 2005 and took a lot of pictures. I will let you know if they are available on-line.
Sveta :)
