HELP! Cullmann 2106

help needed!

i got this Cullmann 2106 tripod, and i lost the rectangle thingy that screw the camera on..

any idea where to get that thingy?

Yu mean the entire quick release plate that you bolt onto the camera, or just the tabbed screw for you to turn to screw the plate to the camera?

If it's the former, chances are no replacement.

If it's the latter, find a wing nut of the same thread and pitch size, and get it cut to the correct length, file to round off sharp edges.

I have a non-functioning Cullman 2108 which is around 30 years old and the QR plate is a square shape one (not rectangle shape like yours). But the rubber part of the QR plate has gone. Anyone is welcome to it provide you can self collect.
