Greetings Clubsnappers,

Just recently, I realised I have a slight problem and I really hope someone will shed light on it. Here's the issue:

I shoot with my A230 under the sRGB colour profile and JPEG, transfer images to computer and I use sony's Picture Motion Browser (PMB) to view my images.

Great I thought, so I decided to edit a few of my images. Thing is, whenever I open the image in Photoshop CS4, the colours (particularly the saturation of the image, shadow details etc) are different from the exact image I view from PMB itself.

Why is this so? I do not think this would be the matter of calibration as I am viewing both images from the same monitor except with different program (PMB and PS).

Basically what I am trying to say is, with both my camera's and PS colour profile set to sRGB, why viewing the same image through different programs (betw. PMB and PS) shows different results?

This is going a major hindrance to me since what I see in photoshop is different when I save/upload the image..

Anyone has any idea?? :dunno:

GREAT! I managed to solve it myself already.

It has something to do with the setting in PS Cs4 under View>Proof setup.

My mistake was that the setting was at Windows RGB instead of monitor RGB.

Everything is ok now :D!
