Help : Battery campatibility for Panasonic FZ-20

I have bought a third part battery and would like to know whether is
compatible for used in Lumix FZ-20 camera, and also
could i used the panasonic charger(DE-994) which come along with the camera
to charge this third part battery.

And lastly will it affect on the functionality and life spend of the camera itself.

Brand of battery : Digital Power
Model : SDV-BM7
Power : 3.6V 980mAh
price : much more cheaper than panasonic battery.
