Does anyone knows where to get a winter wear to fit the supersize me? i am looking at big american size. Will be travelling to china next week and its freezing -7 degrees C or even lower. Hope some kind soul can shed some light! Cheers!!!

how super is supersize? salvation army has some cheap ones, not sure if they are big enough though..saw some suits that were pretty huge

If you can tolerate a little cold, get it in China, it is much cheaper there.
Esp if you are in Beijing, "Ya Xiu" is a big clothing shopping centre.

How super are we talking about ? and what will you need it for ? Skiing or walk about?

Since I am skiing I can only give you from my point of view.... -7 is not too bad as long as there's no wind.

I recommend you do layering... So you need to get some stretchy pants... Look for some base layers from Velocity. Stuff from North Face would help. here are some links (I know they are for skiing but it will give you some ideas) Next layer Would be the fleece layer.... and finally the waterproof layer if you are hitting the snow. If not the next layer can be some combination of a wind breaker and fleece.

Ok ok...

Where to buy...

You can also try the american brands like Timberland or Gant. Might carry big sizes. I bought from both. If you need style.... Armani has some pretty good stuff but good to only 10 - 5 degrees. So still need the thermal layer.

Besides Ya Xiu, U can try Xidan area and slash price down 70%. Confirm cheaper in China.

Which part of China?

how abt clothing with coretec material. very thin layer but can go minus degree. and waterproof too. your perspiration can flow out of the jacket so it won't stink. if u can afford, take a look at lafuma or mammut.

u can't go there to buy, it's too late. at least get a decent jacket that can protect you from the cold.
