Browsed this forum for quite some time on and off but only finally sign up today.

about myself: Young and active, loves sports but i'm fat, food lover, aspiring chef, beginner to food photography.

Gear:
Nikon coolpix S3 (grew mould and all shots are blury)
Nikon D60, kit lens 18-55 + 55-200 + sb900, manfrotto 055xdb (regretted on getting 55-200 wanting to sell and get 60mm macro lens)
Canon Digital IXUS 870 IS (for casual shooting)

Computer: 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 20" Imac

Welcome to CS! you can post your food photos in a new thread under the abstracts and still life section for others to give some C&C..

You mgiht wish to try GIMP for a free editing software. Takes some time to learn though.

erm... i have some questions...

is there a FAQ on this site? i was browsing the forum and alien words like DOF and stuff popping up. any idea where to check photography term and its meaning?
