Hi Shuttleblink, I am amazed by your Nikon D 300, it is a powerful camera, more so your Tamron tele lens. I am still keeping my Nikon FE2 and Tamron 28~210MM ( and collecting dust, actually inside my electric dry box). This is my second FE2 ( i lost one many years back), it is a good camera, but diminishing...

thanks! im still exploring my camera functionality & capability by doing weekend shooting!
and did u know this is my first dSLR .... im using(until now) CANON Powershot S2 and my oldest camera were a film based camera "Pentax Z50 with 70-300mm & 18-55mm lenses" and also collecting some dust right now! he he hee
just enjoy shooting!
