I'm new to this forum.. I'm an aspiring filmmaker who is trying to brush up and get better at photography this year.
Just a quick query, how do you post photos on this site?

Welcome,
It's simple choose a photo sharing catogory in the gallery for stills or moving pictures.
Start a thread and link your photo from the hosting site.Choose insert photo of the menu at the top.
Try not to post high res photo which is slow to load.

BTW I thought videographer already know about photography perhaps need brush up on composition?

Mm i tried posting a picture from my instagram, its not really working...

I think video is a lot more intuitive, firstly it's scripted so you know what you are going for. And it's a continuous moment in time, but I find that I can't catch the right moments when it comes to photographs, maybe its the shutter speed maybe I can't seem to grasp the "decisive moment" if you will.

You need to post the link to the image itself, not the webpage, that's why the photo is not showing up in the forum

You might want to consider uploading your photo into the Clubsnap gallery, then link to the image from there. I made a short guide here:

I've tried uploading the photos for a few days now. Something is wrong either with my account or the site I guess.
Quite annoying really. -_-

Hello. Welcome. When I joined there was a 50 post requirement before you could add snaps. I used img tags as a work around.
