can anyone recommend me a small compact camera so that i can bring around with me in my handbag?

heard from my colleagues Sony is good.

i did consider the Nikon S3.

quite honestly, most of the main brands are good. when my female friends (who just wanna have a cam to shoot snap shots, not as hobby or interest) ask me which is good, i always say, they are all good, just get the one u think looks the best.

i'm serious, and i'm not looking down on females taking photos either, in case anyone misunderstands.

okok.. seriously, i bought a fuji z1 for my ex gf last time. less than a year ago. good cam too! :thumbsup: now comes in black (z2).

if you bother and/or don't already know about www.dpreview.com, go check it out. got most cameras there, at least the specs, if you don't understand the specs can always ask here, then u can decide which is more impt to you and find a suitable camera.

camera choices are very dependant on wat u wanna shoot, but mostly for snap shots of ur friend and boyfriend, as i said, they are all good.
