Hi, I'm using sigma's 100-300 with extension tube to shoot the flowers for pics 1.,3. and 4.

50mm with extension tube for pic 2.

the background isn't really interesting enough to compose the flowers that close to the edge IMHO. square crops might work better.

Kinda feels like a postcard picture, eh...

were you going for such an idea?

Edwin, pix 1 and 3 looks soft, think your DOF is way too shallow at f/1.8

Hello...

Actually pic 1 is not sharp at all.So look kind of blur... or DOF shallow....

Pic 3 wise... i not shooting at 1.8,perhaps due to the extension tube.
Normally with extension tube,i will go beyond f8. :D

I concur.... I also read it as f1.8 plus it was Ap mode

I think Edwin confused the lens he used. Not only it is f/1.8 it is also at f=50mm

:bsmilie:
Oops, sorry guys... Apologise for the super errors i made.
Yah,its shot with 50 f/1.8.

Cos i seldom shoot straight like this for macros.

Yup,hence the DOF so shallow. Thanks Hwchoy and ZAC08 for pointing it out. :)
