Another of my lunch time shots

Hyllus spiders are big (often over 10mm). They have a thickset cephalothorax and their legs are densely covered with hairs.

The 2nd shot is better than the first, in terms of sharpness and details. But the white band below the eyes are abit blown.

Sorry to say this, but the band below the eyes are still blown. May want to PS to adjust it.

Nice jumper. And cute too. Ann Siang Hills?
Yes Ann Siang Hill, you can find them on the wooden railing
use the railing for added support

but beware as they will jump on your lens

by blown do you mean zero data? 255r 255g 255b

the details are not there but not zero data
How do i avoid this without using PS?

Thanks for the advice

Come to think of it, it must be caused by my custom curve.
OK I'll try again using RAW to see if i can get the details back.

Thanks for pointing that out

Not sure of the data part, but blown as in very white. Usually that band below the eye is not so white that becomes one patch. I hope you know what I mean.

PS wise, I am not sure if lowering the levels can help.
