If only there's a similar adapter to use Canon lenses on a Nikon.

Cannot lah. For a Canzzie glass to go into a Nikon, the lens will need to sit into the camera and the mirror will then be in the way. The opposite is true for a Nikkor fitting into a Canon body, that's why the additional focal length created by the adapter would be acceptable.
