Hey guys, I realise it's my post here heh heh.

Anyway hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and photography itself. (around 3-4 months)

So I've been adventurous lately and wanted to try a little bit of HDR photog.

But in some of my first few attempts, the sky appears to be overly underexposed and "detached" from the landscape.

Used photomatix to overlay RAW images and tone map, and then lightroom for post-processing.

Any advice on this? ):

Thanks...

Reduce luminance to reduce the halo effect. This in turn causes the sky to be less "detached"

Go into photoshop with your finished HDR pictures, and burn the halos so they don't exist anymore. :)
