Has anyone been on the TRans-Siberian Railway?

Hi

Does anyone here have any experiences with the TRans-siberian railway?

I am hoping to go in the middle of this year and wanted some advice / info.

Comments including good travel agents to book with in Singapore, things to watch out for (main problems/concerns), unusual places that are worth visting but not on the main tourist map etc are most welcome.

I think at least 1 CSer (espion) have taken the Beijing-Lhasa train already, not sure about Trans-Siberian though.

I'd certainly like to take it one day.... before I croak, at the very least.
