hi guys.. hav some hardware issues to ask u..

what is the max number of drives a 250W power supply can support? currently..i hav a DVD-Rom reader, a cd-writer and my primary harddisk which is 20GB.. i'm thinking of adding a 80GB drive but can the power supply supprt that or will it give way? :sweatsm:

and.. am i too outdated? cos i went searching for RDRAM in Sim Lim yesterday but to no avail.. they still carry RDRAM rite? hopefully..

heh.. thanks in advance..
you guys have been a great help to me ;)

Yes, a good/true 250W can supply the above as you mentioned and more. If it's just an OEM brand, also can. Should not be an issue.

RD-RAM is still available I believe, but not too sure of price.

Try Memory World @ Funan IT Mall 5th floor or Sim Lim Square (forgotten which floor) for the RD-RAM.

:D thx jordan.. i'll probably pop down to Funan later..
and michael.. how u define good/true? erm.. its ard 2years old.. never been dropped/experienced lighting strike and its from a Dell package.. hmm.. good enough? heh..
