Happenings around Marina Bay

Singapore's Marina Bay, other than it's beautiful views, is also a host to various activities, from the National Day Parade, to various sports and arts activities. So I'm starting this thread to share some of the shots I took when I happened to be around with a camera.

First up is 'i Light Marina Bay' happening now, from 3-26th March 2017 (https://www.ilightmarinabay.sg/)

National Day Parade Rehearsals have started, with the Combined Rehearsals 1 happening last Saturday 24th June. Went to catch some outdoor action as this year it's back to Float @ Marina Bay, also sharing the timings though they will be subject to change as they get more accurate nearer to the actual day. Just use the timings as a rough ballpark for when to get ready.

#37 - First up as usual are the Red Lions parachuting down (5.50pm)

(used in-camera overlay to combine 2 fireworks shots with 1 base shot and post-processed including correction of verticals)

Happy catching the action in the weeks to come! (do note the rehearsal this weekend will be on a Sunday as Saturday is SAF Day)
 

#45 - National Education Show 2 Fireworks
(This is a composite image of 2 fireworks on a blue hour shot. Fireworks position are as they were, image verticals corrected)

Timings for NE Show 2 were generally quite similar, with one more small stage fireworks at 7.26pm AND another round of fireworks after 2 minutes pause starting at 8.18pm
