For IQ, the obvious is GF1. But TS is obviously pondering over size and zoom power. If you are very particular about IQ that is of dSLR quality and you will use iso1600 where possible. If yes, GF1.

If No, then G11 will meet your requirement. G11 can make use of Canon EX flash too giving you pro lighting too.

Offer you a Ferrari, you might not even qualified for the F1 license.

Personally, I go for G11.....price and size. For other quality...I am upgrading constantly, the camera manufacturer will never catch up.
