Just got info on this. Seems there are a lot of photoshoots going on over the weekend. However if there are some of you not going for the photoshoots & got nothing to do, why not come down to the Malay Heritage Ctr near Jln Sultan / Bussorah Street, which is next to the Sultan Mosque, on Saturday, 27 Nov 04 or Sunday, 28 Nov 04.
The grounds of the Malay Heritage Ctr will be declared open by Minister Yaakob Ibrahim on Saturday morning. There will be lots of cultural shows, silat demos etc happening over these 2 days. The Minister will also plant the Gelam tree in the ctr's garden.
Also there'll be pottery & batik making demos. Food stalls will also be set up with Hari Raya goodies available.
The Minister is expected to arrive between 10.30 - 11.00 a.m. He is known to be very punctual.
So why not come down & join in the celebration ... and I'm sure there'll be lots of photo-shooting opportunities.
