Well done  nice shots there, I guess the outdoor or strong stage light (?) helps in getting those shots so sharp without flash.
Can share the settings used

Of course nice looking subject helps a lot too ;)

#3 could use more cropping at the top and bottom to have better effect.
#8 could remove the bottom portion of the girls to enhance on the curves and lines contrast.

Great pic u got there.
will go try out the settiing as yours later

Just a comment for pics 3&4. Able to get a direct frontal shot... just wondering how the shot would turn out?

Hmm... I think it's the OIS that done it's job la! Try another camera without IS, it's a different story. If it's due to good lighting, why would most photogs shooting there with external flash? Somehow, FZ20 able to achieve good results without flash. Not even internal flash. OIS
I think other camera with IS could do just as well, without flash.

One of mine taken at Raffles City. just done this one shot only:
About 6X zoom at it, handheld, no flash.

Hi all! Thanks for all the comments...

Howdy: Is this what you meant?

As for #8, I crop here crop there but still ended up liking the original one better... Pai say... ;p

The lighting there was relatively good. But I still had to use ISO200. Aperture priority f2.8 was used throughout. But I wish I used a little flash though. To try out some filler flash on their faces.

eow: Erm... not really sure what you meant by that. Can elaborate? Pardon my ignorance...

rhair78: Thanks! As for the frontal shot, I guess I never know now...

sunkist: Haha... I actually took more than 30 shots just on this dance alone... Chose these 10 to let you people get the feel of the whole dance. But if I were to choose one to represent them all, it would be #7. :)

All: There's more to come....

Yes, yes, I like #7. It would be nice if I can participate too!

Haha... Lifeworld getting naughty online!!! Rare sight... :bsmilie: But can't blame you. These two ladies were VERY good at what they did. I almost couldn't decide whether to just watch the performance or look at them through the evf!

#8 - u r right the bigger pic have more impact, I was very tired then.

Well done there with the shots, all clear and subjects attractive.
