Not the best of shots due to the poor lighting over here in england recently. Characteristic with their long th[/IMG]in necks and white front, they are commonly found amongst the ducks in lakes and ponds here. There are at last count 6 resident to hyde park, london. In summer, when they are in season, a tuft will appear on their crown and pairs will spend hours circling each other looking adoringly at each other. They nest on a bed of sticks/weed on water, anchored to vegetation. It dives underwater to feed on fish and large underwater insects. I will strive to post better photos in the near future.
