Two moons on 27th August 2007*

*27th August; the day the Whole World is waiting for ......

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August..

It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65 Million miles of earth.
Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons.
The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

It better be Armageddon..else sleep is more important..

Saw on Discovery Channel that it will be a 'Red Moon' on the 28th. Something to do with light reflection cost by something else...... Must find a good spot for this. :D

Don't believe such things when received such email.

Cause for a simple fact that Mars can never come so close to earth and yet nothing is going to happen to our earth.

Before Mars can come even this close as mentioned in the email, if it does happens, none of us will be standing alive to watch it anyway. The magetic force and gravitational force would have cause massive weather havoc on earth, temperature would rise till burning heat, massic tsunami all over the world, our poles would have shift position due to the stronger magnetic force from Mars. Basically, our world and civilisations, every life forms will be destroyed even before Mars come this close to be the same size as our moon in the sky.

But I can accept and believe that once in many years that Mars can become the brightest 'star' in the night sky as part of it orbit track does bring it much closer to earth, but can never be the same size of our moon in the sky. Think it had happened some years ago already where one can use a normal telecope to see the red planet in the sky.

U had brought out the exact words from NASA. If Mars can be that big for us to see, we'll be sitting in heaven with father god the next moment.

TS, kindly check the facts before announcing......
