Got my D90 and stuff today at Peninsula;

2nd Nikon D90 (SC 40), SF-S Nikkor 18-55mm, AFS Nikkor 55-200mm, Victory Bag, Victory Tripod, 3rd Party Grip, Extra Battery, 8GD SD CARD, 52mm UV Filter

P&G Photography. Very nice guy Andrew.
Nicest person in all shops I went through. I've been in a lot of shops there but seems they won't bother if not Ang Moh.

Anyway, thank God someone got my attention and serve me well.:angel:

Have you visited those recommeded shops?
I think you are lucky that they did not target you, cause usually those shops that don't bother unless its ang moh will :kok:

SC 40. Tested it also a few times. seems ok (to me:think. Not an expert
Got Warranty for 3 months.

Told me 1st owner upgraded to D7k.

I will take some test shots and post here.
Anyway, pardon me for this stupid question.
Is there any standard form of shot testing cam? Hope you can help.

fishy... :think: did u use opanda to check the actual shutter count of the camera rather than hearing it off from the salesman?

Ah, so it is a 2nd hand set.

Well, try all the modes, shoot shoot shoot, try shooting quickly, try burst shots, try a video, etc etc.

Go through the manual and try the examples stated.

hmm.... the D90 comes with the 18 - 108 lens...and if is returned, it should come with the lens? So you specifically ask the shop to debundle the lens and opted for the 2 lens? The 2 lens are brand new or also second hand? I tot the deal is just so so...since the body 3 months warranty is by the shop and not nikon, you might be better off with a brand new gray set?

Your right. But already decided to buy anyway, for now I can sleep.
I thought having this lens better than original one. think:dunno:
But Andrew told me I can still change to original lense if not happy.
So far happy with it. Testing is OK. See how in few weeks or months. Have to learn and learn basics first....

Personally I think the deal is a bit fishy...

but since you've already bought the camera, no point looking back. Just use it well and take good photos with it! :thumbsup:

I would not say it is a good deal, maybe so-so deal, especially for 2nd hand and 3 mths warranty left (Nikon or shop?).
Anyway, enjoy your new toy and keep shooting.
