Google Chrome - not a good experience

oh, google chrome is a browser. like IE8, Safari, FireFox, Opera..
IE8 optimised for Google (the search engine) for XP is just great for me.
Many user friendly toolbars. can add yahoo tool bar.
The favourites toolbar of IE8 is good.
I can add and choose from many tools and custom buttons to fill my Google (search engine) toolbar.
You can see History on the same page.
I got more than a thousand "favourites" bookmarks.
hmm...maybe Google Chrome may not be for me.
there are other engines like ask, altavista, yahoo...
but it seems Google Chrome is as someone described...all chassis and no interface

Ask a man-in-the-street common sense question. If Google Chrome is so great, fast, wonderful, free, then it should have garnered 90+% of the browser market share by now, right?

This really show u didnt use Google chrome enough..:bsmilie: The bookmark bar features and almost all the features u mention it also have plus a bigger screen estate.. Owns preferences.. continue to use yr slower browser ;p one features i really like is highlight a link and right click to go to that address.. and also spellcheck when u type something something too fast it underline the wrong words... right click and it gives u all the suggestion..so user friendly

I'm using a netbook daily, a MSI WIND U100 Plus.
Personally I think Google Chrome is still the way to go for such small screens like mine. Even though it causes crashes and youtube videos cant be viewed in other sites, i still can live off with it. Thats my thought.

i think is a matter of getting used to it. thats why i'm still using firefox on windows.
IE8 optimised for Google (search engine) can highlight text (and right click to search web). There is a spell check icon on the Google tool bar. Can have whatever favourite link you want on the favourites tool bar and customise a url to display your own designed icon. Agree these are user friendly. On right click can even choose whatever accelerator we want to use, e.g. translate the highlighted text. Or you can ask Google to translate the whole webpage. Either set manually or automatically translate.

1st. Chrome is fast. Yes. But Chrome takes up your RAM in order to load fast when accidentally closed chrome. Don't believe? Launch your Chrome, then close it. Launch your task manager. find: Chrome.exe @ 13k~ Chrome is not even fully shutdown when you press the X Button.
2nd. Chrome Usually load fast using cache. If you have experience before, you sometimes cannot even load a Google.com or Facebook.com. Why? Because Chrome will first detect a cache for it, then load the webpage back for you, thus it loads fast.
3rd. (Rumor. But experienced. Yet cannot confirm) Chrome take down all the page you visit and sent it back to google INC. So that they can filter the most popular webpage and put it 1st search ranking. Nothing wrong with it. But whats privacy dude???
Or if you AVG 9.0 Internet security Or higher. You know that every time an application wants access to the internet, It will pop-up a [Allow] or [Decline] Button. Launch Chrome for 1hour+, Chrome sub-app will want to access the internet. Thats when your visited webpage will be sent...

Maybe they changed the EULA after howls of protests. Not sure if they did.
But even if later they changed it to make it milder, what made them create such a draconian EULA originally in the first place?
What was their intention?
And what if no one protested? It remains so till today and for ever more?

i tried on windows 7. gave up almost immediately and ran back to firefox. the foxy is much better to use nowadays. for one, its the plugins tat are kick ass.
