need inputs on Tele converters like 1.7 or 2.0 for NIKON full frame system
especially looking for Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 VC lens

I believe the Nikon TC (1.4, 1.7, 2.0) can only be used with appropriate Nikon lenses only, as there are protruding lens elements at the front end of the TC.
For use of 3rd party lenses, one would have to use 3rd party brands. Generic ones like kenko will work, or brand specific like Sigma to Sigma.
