hi, anyone has any good recommendation for a good inkjet printer in A3 size for proofing what i have shot on screen, to make sure what i see is what i am getting.

and of course, we will need to calibrate the monitor and the printer separately, any good devices or system to recommend?

tks

There are some pretty good ones in the market and it very much depends on your budget.
I've used a couple of them. Good digital proofing systems needs good color management workflow.

The Designjet 90 is quite respectable. It has a built in color sensor to perform self calibration of the printer.

If budget allows, there is the Designjet Z2100 (8 ink version) or Z3100 (12 ink version). These models have an embedded X-rite's i1 spectrophotometer. There is a review here http://www.dpreview.com/news/0610/06100102hpdesignjet.asp

the HP Z series is great with the built in calibrator but they are abit bigger than A3 (A1 and up, and thus much more expensive)... for A3 size might want to look at the Epson 2400, or the slightly larger (A2) Epson 3850, 4800, or the Canon iPF5000... quality wise, all these printers are pretty much on par... :)
