Well, found a pair of these water hens nesting by the symphony pond. They were constantly looking for food and competing with the whistling ducks for the bread that fellow homosapiens so generously gave to the pond. Apparently, after snatching the food, they would dart into the foliage by the pond, quite instantly. I suspect there may be a nest/ w chicks (?) in there but could not confirm. This is one of the more "interesting" poses I captured. You could easily guess what had caught its attention. Wish I could offer a lower perspective but then I would be in the pond.
