Going to Canon service center clean sensor, need warranty card?

Today I am going down to Habourfront to clean my sensor, do I need to present warranty card?
How much do I pay?
How long do I wait to collect? I have party in the evening.

some ppl have received free cleaning when they showed warranty card and acted blur by asking how come pictures got some dots here and there. u can try that method.

if not, usually they will ask for $21 with GST. how long u have to wait, will depends on whether they are busy or not. fastest cleaning time i've seen was 45 mins. longest was 1 week.

If remember correctly, as of lately canon warranty does not cover sensor cleaning anymore. u'll have to pay 20 bucks.

Sending your cam in to Canon for cleaning is a waste of time/$$$ IMO. Do a search on clubsnap and you'll see there are much better alternatives.
