It's a selection of 3 ladies & 2 guys to send to an international competition in Shanghai. It's probably trying to select the best groomed, most articulate.... almost like beauty pageant, but probably not so grand. Look out for details in the newspaper in the coming days, or dig through your newspaper heap for the old issue I mentioned. (The Straits Times, Thursday, Feb 20th, Pg H6)

Yeah... I'm not very familiar with Scotts, been ages since I last been there. Any shop there that is clearly visible, and opens to the main atrium? Can use that as the meeting place.

***IMPORTANT*** (Especially to first-timers shooting public events)


As with all public events, there is always a possibility that photographs will not be allowed to be taken. Reasons could be that the organizers fear that photographs taken by the public might be sold or distributed to undesirable media. Other reasons could be to prevent other photographers from interfering with the official photographer in his duties, crowd control or just senseless & lame organizer policies of simply 'No Photo-Taking'.

So be prepared to go home empty handed. On the other hand, you might end up with a treasure!

Have a backup plan just in case..
If this event disallow the phototaking, u guys can adjourn to another pre-planned place to take photos.. rather than going home empty handed & a sunken heart.. :p

lol.... Backup plan for this? How about taking photoshots of national museum? Heard that it is gonna close down for renovation in a mth or two.
