Date: Sunday 12 September
Time: 6am at the meeting point. 6.15am moving off to not-so-secret location.
Duration : 2 hours (at least coz there's 3 stations to shoot)
Photographic Objectives
1) Creating depth in landscape photos.
2) Understanding depth of field in relation to aperture.
3) Applying rule of thirds as a compositional tool in landscape photography.
4) Learning to frame the shot.
Format of Shoot
Experienced photographers lead the inexperienced newbies and serve as role models/guides during photoshoot.
Location: Ghaz's not-so-secret spot at Bedok Reservoir
Meeting Point: At the small playground indicated on the map which is just behind the Shing Siong Supermarket. There are plenty of carpark areas as indicated on the map. The most convenient one where i will be parking is beside the refuse centre.
Things to bring
1) Camera
2) Lenses (Kit lens in the range 18-55mm is fine. Ultrawide Angle would be ideal.)
3) Tripod is vital for tack sharp pictures
4) A small water bottle (no water point where we will be going)
5) Good pair of walking shoes (May get slippery walking up and down a gentle slope)
6) Small torchlight (Pretty dark at my not-so-secret location)
7) Insect Repellent (Wet season, got some mosquitos in the early hours)
