I understand that bigger stores usually won't budge because they have their pre-defined bundles so I'd really appreciate if you point me in the right direction ...

Try a game shop near to where you stay. The cheapest I seen so far is $475. Just the set.

Hi Adam,

I don't know if this is of any use to you, but, today I was looking at the cost price (we sell them) of the 250GB version.

I found that the one with the 2 blue ray movies (I don't want them) cost us the same as the ones that didn't

Also, the 250GB version cost us near $100 more than the 120GB version.

I hope this information helps over there in seeing why some are not ready to shift their price (unless they are prepaired to take out the bundled items and sell them off seperately).

i think qisahn.com will give you the best price. no fuss, no bargaining needed. highly recommended. the shop is at far east shopping centre, beside borders, not to be confused with far east plaza.

i bought my first PS3 from there, and the games there are also usually the cheapest around.

I'd recommend funzsquare @ far east plaza. Their prices are among the most competitive I've seen around so far. Very friendly ppl over there, I almost always get my stuff from them.
